Oren Sagi serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cisco Systems Israel, a position he has held since September 2015. Under his leadership, Cisco Israel has seen its operations surpass the 1 billion NIS mark and has been at the forefront of driving nationwide digitization efforts, partnering with both public and private sectors. The company has made significant strides, including the acquisition of 16 Israeli companies and the establishment of six research and development centers across the country. Cisco Israel is also recognized for its robust social responsibility initiatives, which are aligned with the company's mission to Power an Inclusive Future for All.
Before ascending to the CEO role, Oren was integral to Cisco Israel as the Regional Sales Manager for the Public Sector. In this capacity, he managed a multi-million-dollar portfolio and spearheaded digitization programs aimed at leveraging innovation and technology to achieve tangible business outcomes.
Oren's entrepreneurial and business development skills were honed prior to joining Cisco, through his co-founding of Bright BRM, an Israeli cybersecurity startup. There, he led efforts to assist Israeli startups in penetrating European markets. His tenure at Bright BRM was preceded by significant roles at Gilon Business Insight and Bynet Data Communications. At Gilon, he served as Vice President, overseeing business development, sales, marketing, and M&A activities. At Bynet Data Communications, as Vice President of International Sales, Oren was instrumental in driving the company's international expansion and establishing foreign subsidiaries.
Oren's professional background is further distinguished by his legal expertise. A member of the Israeli Bar since 1998, he has practiced in commercial law and intellectual property litigation, adding a unique perspective to his business endeavors.
He is an alumnus of Reichman University (IDC Herzliya), where he obtained his LL.B in Law and a BA in Business Administration. Oren resides in Raanana, Israel, with his spouse and their three children, embodying a blend of professional success and personal fulfillment.
