As the Head of Mfg/IoT at Splunk, Tom Harrop is responsible for customer success and alignment of capabilities across Splunk’s vertical solution portfolio for IoT and Manufacturing industries.
Previously Tom held the position of CTO at HP Software where he was responsible for leading customer transformation strategies and adoption of HP’s IT Operations and Business Technology portfolio for HP’s top global customers and industry partners. In 2007 Mr. Harrop served as principal lead research and developer for predictive enterprise resource management and principal developer for adaptive resource management methods for Agilent Technologies, a subsidiary of HP. The commissioned research led to the development and grant of multiple predictive and adaptive patents used in Telecommunication and IT Operations systems today.
Tom Harrop is a frequent speaker at industry events and actively participates in leading industry initiatives for the adoption of new technologies.

Peter brings over 30 years of experience in manufacturing automation, optimization, and technology strategy for the Oil and gas and Chemicals sectors.
Before joining ARC, Peter was responsible for Refinery and Terminal automation and developing the IT Strategic Plan for a large Canadian Refining and Marketing company in New Brunswick, Canada. Previous work included leading the Refining Growth team to develop the automation and technology strategy for a greenfield joint venture refinery with an international oil company. Peter studied economics at Dalhousie University and Control and Instrumentation Engineering at NBCC.
